So I finally did some mods and I'm liking the GPM shocks so far, and I broke the body clip-leash already haha. The HPI tires are sweet too, fun for "grip driving". Anyways here are a couple before and after pics. Lipo is next

i have also just moved the speedo/receiver into 1 of the battery compartments to lower CG.

Just waiting on centre diff and stiffer springs to come.

This thing just grip rolls on the indoor carpet racing i take it to :-(

I finally completed my Rally conversion from a 16th Slash VXL.

My custom chassis is a LCG carbon fiber plate mounted to the center spine. This baby handles like a dream with the right tires. I need TC 32 tires here in Brazil to run this on the streets. Hope to try it out at the Jundiaí 2004 Worlds track some day soon once I get my 10.5 Ballistic motor and Edge ESC. I have pletty of juice in the 4200 Reedy saddle packs! Run time is more than 30 minutes with the stock VXL.

Hey all had a quick question. Im lookin at gettin something to play around on the road with and i am torn between one of these and an hpi street 2 flux. Ill be just bashin around mostly but will also drift. I heard the traxxas rally is a bit twichy and hard to drift smooth cuz its so short and small. Any imput or advise will be great thanks

the biggest reason i went with the traxxas rally is that if i would ever get bored with it being a rally i can change to any of their other 1/16 platforms
