All my rc's may be up for sale lol...

I have a mini revo because I like 4 wheel drive action and speed but a lighter truck, but it's a little too small. I have a bl revo 3.3, but it's a little heavy. I have a stampede because it has groundclearance, is fast, and is light enough it doesn't break everytime I roll it, but it's not 4wd. And I have a rusty, which I'd probably keep lol.

This had better NOT be a tease... THIS is what ive been waiting for. Its the ONLY thing id ever replace my pede for. It does look pretty official too... lots of differences from a 2X4 pede. Personally, I think this is a WAY better idea than many of the stuff ive seen coming lately. This truck would appeal to a huge audience who like the size of the pede but want 4X4.

It's hard to tell in the pictures, but it does look like it.

.....tries to keep out thoughts of a rustler 4x4 and bandit 4x4... there are similar versions of all 4 2wd electric trucks, 2 down for 4x4!!!!

i guess it makes sense, but it would be cool if the old pede tranny was mounted in the middle of the chassis and then driven from there.

Oh my gosh, the first pic on this page is so not as official as the facebook page is. Im actually considering selling my stuff NOW to wait for the pede 4X4... id also look at a mini summit... maybe an onroad VXL... where is the money going to come from???? I have no idea.

On a different note, how the heck can this magazine do this. I work in the media... I go to media introductions like the one these pics came from all time for snowmobiles and ATVs... in the past other magazines have done what this magazine has done and released information that was embargoed (you usually have to sign a sheet saying you wont talk about it until a certain date) and without question, those magazines NEVER get invited back. I have to think this is a pretty serious breach of confidence by the magazine in question.

Either way... yay for the 4X4 pede.

What im seeing is a body thats very similar to the 2X4 pede which would not fit over a slash width chassis... which leads me to believe the chassis will be more pede like than it is slash like. It would also be way smarter IMO to keep the chassis similar to the current pede. Building a shorter slash style chassis would leave people feeling like it was no longer a stampede. Just my thoughts and observations.

Wow. I've wanted this for SO LONG! I agree with Pave on this one: I would get rid of all my other stuff for a stampede 4x4 (except my current pede vxl, that stays 4 life!) and a mini summit sounds awesome!!!

Traxxas, thanks for listening to us. This is why you're on top of the rc game!

Just a word of advice tho, dont release it until its deemed stampede worthy!! -simple, easy to work on, and RELIABLE... the stampede 4x4 has big shoes to fill!

Just say when, and my money is yours.

The chassis looks shorter than the Slash 4x4. I like the front bumper/shock guard. Fantastic looking track!!! Great job Traxxas!!!

Looks like the pede 4x4 will have the same driveline/debris issue. I just wish it came with a new tire option. Also for the 4x4 is the easy install of the 1/8 systems and the shock guards that are attached to the arms (great for my slash 4x4 mt[extended pede 4x4???] build). This will be an awesome Christmas release. Many people have been waiting many years for this.

Diff chassis tires body and the shock shields at least are different. Oh and the wheelie bar and body mounts also.
