tire help - best basher tire

I am looking for opinions on what the hands down best basher tire is? I am starting to build a ERBE based bash mobile from scratch, thought I would just bypass the factory stuff that needs to be replaced anyway and put together my own with all the toughest parts. I plan to try to kill this rig on a daily basis and wanted to know what tires can handle high flying MMM 6s power the bestest? I also plan to use LT rockers so I was thinking a maxx size tire like the trenchers or big joes.

I personally like Mashers and Badlands. Mashers give traction just about anywhere and have good life on pavement. Ive been using the same set of Badlands for over a year though and they still have a good 90% tread left, but that is because i rarely run on pavement. However, in soft dirt, similar to topsoil, they have amazing traction. They also have very good traction on gravel, and unless something better comes out, there is a good chance i will buy another set of badlands when these finally wear out.

Here is a good thread that may help you.

+1 on the badlands. I have em and love em. Great traction on grass. Even though they aren't REALLY designed for pavement, they do well. They do wear out quicker on pavement.

Thanks guys, I never even considered the badlands, they look good. they can't really be 6.89" tall can they? that would be they same as the losi claws on my Summit.

Looks like an error on pro-lines site. That 6 should be a five. Tower lists as 5.84 high and 2.72 wide.

They are just about as high as the stockers.

I like the GS Storm SUT tires,..same size as the stock E-Revo tires...but they don't balloon at high speeds.

you are correct...they haven't yet...but 2 weeks of hard driving, roughly 5 days a week.....and still no ballooning...

Especially when all the other brand tires I've had either ballooned on the first day, or exploded...

Lots and lots of grip offroad,..and can pull wheelies on the road,....

I don't know if it matters to you, but they slide in the turns on the road, they are a denser rubber, so they probably will last an eternity.

I noticed with 4s they do wheelies(good grip), but with 6s Lipos they do a mini burn-out before hooking, which saves the axles and the slipper clutch..which is a good thing.

And of course what I've have said before...since they are like the only tire with a complete center band...ballooning is almost not existent.

    These are the tires.

I just "redneck" weighed them...and the GS Storms are a good bit lighter.

Which is surprising...because I would have bet they would have been the heavier of the two.

So I did the conversion from Lbs(sorry don't know how to make that symbol) to $CAD. With shipping those GS tires came to over $70.00 and I would probably have to pay duties on top of that.

Since I havn't even started to build my E-Revo yet, I will keep on searching for a better deal I think.

those look like knock off mashers since you can see the side detailing. The mashes however have slits in the treads.
