    Why I dislike LHS

I have a hobby town about 30 mins away from me so its not easy getting parts from there. I gave my dad the parts numbers to make my tranny all metal. I put down 2388x for the planetary gear diff complete with steel ring gear. The guy gave my dad the plastic one. This will be my 3rd time up there! Ugh!!!

They had the part its this one old guy inpeticular and his english is kinda shakey. And I have a question. I put the bearings in the new 30t steel idler and itll spin fine with the top gear and the plastic diff(yes im going with the metal I know it doesnt work) but its really hard when it turns. Will getting the metal diff and put some grease in there fix that problem of the gears not turning easily?

Yup, the diff cases are exactly the same. You can even use the steel ring gear with the old internals if you want. But buying the complete diff is a better idea.

Yeah. Today I got the Steel idler. The top drive is already steel. And the complete diff is going back and im getting the steel ring. I plan on making this a monster.

as long as it has steel teeth on it, you should be fine! plus the part numbers are the same.

The irony of that statement made me smile.

Sounds like you have got some good plans for your car - The Jang did a review on ultimaterc.com of a Leopard motor. You should check it out over there.
