    Light bar on top

I was wondering if anyone has the light bar that comes seperate and goes on the top of the body of the summit. I am thinking about buyin one for my E-maxx. I need to know if it puts a substantial amount of light so that I can see pretty well while driving at night.

    light bar

They are VERY BRIGHT !! It really freaks out the cars on our street at night when they see all these lights comming at them so close to the ground. These along with the bumper lights really light up the way so you can see where you are going

How does it plug into the body? Do you have to unplug it every time you take off the body? I am really thinking about getting one also but for my summit.

You do have to unplug it everytime you take the body off but they give you lots of wire for plugging and unplugging. It comes with a y-harness that plugs into the wiring that's already there for the factory lights.

And yes they are very bright and throw a lot of light.

Yes, they are very bright! Take a look at my video:

And, yes, you have to unplug it everytime you take the body off...

The roof light bar, bolts right in place of the
    original fake light bar...

The roof lights are very bright...
They put light out about 12 feet at least to the front.

I went through a few sets of the bumper lights with that same problem.
So i just bought 20 prewired white led with inline resistors for 5 bucks including shipping off ebay. The places i go in this truck wires are bound to get broken

quad, I think we know each other too well

light bar wires attached to the inside of the body with connectors attached to the body post. Lights come on automatically each time you place the body on the car.

easy - simple - no wires to disconnect/ reconnect
