    aluminum servo saver

    Does anyone know who makes a aluminum servo saver that keeps the two servo steeing design?

    get a servo horn too the plastic ones will fail at some point with big tires

    search "revo aluminum steering" on ebay there are quite a few on there. Usually if you search for the Summit you get less results.....I am pretty sure they are the same.

    Yes most of the parts are interchangable and good point on searching revo parts way more results

    what kind of servo horns are recommended/fit? I am running the stock servos now but I have kershaw design servos waiting in the wings. thanks

    http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...rvo-Horn-Hitec there are others i haven't fully decided on this one yet I've killed a set of kershaws, towerpro's 2 sets of stockers.These big tires and crawling makes servo's cry.the stockers are ok for regular tires and servos that aren't crazy powerful make sure to loctite the screws so they don't work loose and the stripping begins.I've gone single servo no tweaking to get them to center without fighting.but i'm just killing the plastic ones.
    I've snapped the arms off of the steering bellcrank a couple times as well so upgrade is in the future

    Thanks quad I need battery doors as well mine "done fell off" Ok scraped em off gotta put it on a diet 14.5 pounds might have something to do with the servo saver issues.....LOLWhat horn did you use?The hanger 9 one looks strong enough

    I need one that fits futaba style splines. thats what traxxas and kershaw designs has.
