I have a Summit

If i wanted to be able to do a quick conversion to make it more like an E-revo for
indoor track racing.. what would i need to do. assuming my summit is stock
(want to keep it waterproof)

I would need

different wheel and tires
different body
pinion change?
soften the springs?

I want to be able to swap it from Summit to Erevo and back again quick and easy

Wheels and tires
Body
Body posts
Different springs
Different rockers
Change gearing to ~18/68 ( the 775 is more for torque than speed though, wont tolerate being abused or pushed too hard )
Leave your diffs unlocked and put the tranny into 2nd gear

That should cover it really- refer to the revo manual for shock/ suspension tuning info & the exploded views for part #s.

.+1 one I just went from ERBE to a Summit *L* a lot more involved there. but I would suggest some aluminum rockers if you have to buy a set they just look cool. You might want to look at getting the rear wing as well, it give the truck something to ride on at take off.. *L* or are you going to run summit bumpers on the E-Revo? The lights look cool on the E-revo.

Been trying to acquire the parts to convert.... There are a lot of parts to order. Anybody have a complete list?

Just open up the suimmit and erevo exploded views and flick back and forth- you'll soon ID all the ( important ) parts that are different and need to be changed over. At a minimum though:

wheels & tires
body shell
rear body posts
bumpers
springs
rockers

You can keep the locking diffs & associated linkages, just keep the diffs open basically ( or lock only the rear for offroading action ). Its not vital to completely change all the parts, just the fundamental items to make the summit look and handle like an erevo..
