The beginning of my slash 4x4 MT

I have a slash 4x4 PE with RPM 2.2 narrow wide offset wheels, with RC4wd Rock Crusher X/T tires. The Truck has not been ran yet. I love the Look. I have the stock tires and stock clodbuster wheels/tires next to it for reference. Now to tune the suspension and figure out a body for it.

Went ahead and dyed the chassis black and put rpm arms all around. Also Hacked up stock body until i figure out which body i'd like to use. I painted the inside of the shell grey and Flat Black/Flat Clear on outside so when when the paint on the outside scrapes off and gives it the look of metal underneath.

Those tires would look amazing with an hpi Jeep Rubicon on there:

EDIT: switch your rear bearing carriers from left to right to reduce the rear toe down to 1 deg of toe in. It will look much better.

How do you think those tires will hold up to brushless? Aren't they a lot softer for crawling?

The tires are holding up great! I taped them before i installed them. They are a medium compound. From what i've heard these tires are too hard for crawling. I am running a novak hv 4.5 (5000kv) with the vxl esc (until i get my mamba max pro back.) running on 2s 30-40c 4000mah. They hold up great! I love them!

I like those Rpm Revolver wheels. Do you have a part number for those? I looked at rpms web page and couldnt find them.

    Ok i have another question.
If i get the these wheels could I run the proline dirt paws on them?

What I'm after is running the dirt paws with RPM revolver wheel that will work on my Slash 4x4.
I plan on running this type of tire all the way around.

I have somewhat converted my Slash into a MT, I did put bigger wheels/tires on it anyways. I put the stock Stampede wheels on it with the Talon tires. Serves my purpose in the mud just perfect.

Did you do anything for shock placement to jack up the suspension? Or is it just the tires that give you the clearance? The only way I can see to increase my clearance (other than taller tires) is to remove the sway bar kit and use the very closest holes. Just not sure what neg affect removing the sway bar will have.
