    I've been working on the body rack for some time now and I've made some progress!

    I have also changed the way im going to mount the electronics. I have ditched the old revo 2.5 radiobox and i'm going to make my own rx box or modify it from some other box.
    Also I have my battery trays installed so that they kind of float.

    I got a mail from customs yesterday! My electronics have arrived but I cant get them until monday Stupid customs closes at four pm!

    Yeah! I think the most difficult thing is that you have to basicly figure out everything by yourself. You might have a good/great/marvelous idea in your head but you just cant make it happen because you dont have enough tools. It really sucks and then you gotta go and design everything again from the start...

    I got tired of stripping the threads on the shocktowers and bulkheads with those "just long enough" stock screws. So I made a set of my own "a little" longer screws! :P

    I decided to use my free time today to make the body rack. All I can say is that I progressed a lot today I got the rails done(they will need some minor tweaking still) and also I made the sliders to the cart(sorry can't figure any better word for the thingamajiggers).

    I got a package from customs this morning!

    What I found from it:
    2x 150A esc
    HK programming card
    2x Lipo buzzers
    10 pairs of 5,5mm banana plugs
    ******* 1100 kv motor
    ******* Tracstar 2650 kv Motor

    Been doing a lot of soldering today! :P And also finished my Revo conversion!

    I've been doing a lot of small stuff on the crawler recently. I mounted the ESC and the motor added bracing to the body rails mounted the receiver batterytray...

    Also I waterproofed my receiver because I dont feel like making a box for it.
    So basicly I used liquid mask on the circuitboard and after that I filled the cover with lithium grease just to ensure that no water gets in there. Will be postin more pics later!

    Took some pictures today. I got the railplates done only thing I need to do now is basicly bolt them to the body(of course there's many things to do before I can get the body on but I'm getting closer)

    Did some driving today with the new typhoon motor... I really like how it handle's right now I can start up sooooo smoothly and if I go over a hard obstacle the motor has so much torque that it will just spin the slipper like there ain't one. Guess I will have to tighten the slipper a bit...
    Alltough theres much torque the top speed isn't so high but it doesn't matter cause I'm not looking for high speeds with this thing. I have my revo conversion for that!

    Got the body rail finally done all I need to do now is attach it to the body!
    I fitted the body first time in few months and had forgotten how HUGE it is! I really like how it looks and once I've gotten it painted it will look so SICK!

    I've practiced the use of a cad program called Solidworks for the last few days.
    No more stupid paint drawings and sketches.
    First "real" part I designed was a custom nut for my crawler wheels! maybe someone at somepoint will manufacture it for me!

    I finally got the body mount mode done! I've braced the rails and attatched the slide to the body.

    The body has only little room to wiggle sideways, but that's ok
