    Gearing....

I am getting ready to run 5.5 tires , what gearing set up will be best? Mainly just going to be bashing no racing I want to keep some speed but most important don't want to strip my gears. I have already ordered MIP x duty driveshafts so should be good there. Any other suggestions would be awesome from you guys.

With the VXL ? On what voltage? But if the answer to the first one is yes, then as low as you can.

I believe 10/54 will fit, if you remove the black plastic end on the motor.

Just wonder why Traxxas did not design more room in there for bigger spurs.

I just put rock crusher 2.2's on my slash and have been running 9 and 10 tooth pinions with the stock battery. This thing is awesome in the snow now, got tired of getting stuck while my 6 yr old son drove his emaxx everywhere! Also running the stock spur gear.

Lowering the Pinion or raising the Spur has the same effect

    Cheers
