Hey! Good to see the wise still exist! Um some ********* 3000 40c packs is what i have been using and its been great! Motor is on the warm side better part of 160 but thats okay. The power it chucks out is immense. Its hard to keep in a straight line. But i got the 400oz jr servo in there so its not an issue.
I have been out of it so long i forgot how to charge my lipos lol. I had a fight with the charger and all the error codes it was giving me till i finally got all the hook ups right.

So what kind of speed are you geared for? Those tires can't be easy for high speed driving So after your break, did you drive it, with your jaw on the floor? I know if I go awhile without driving it always seems way faster then it does after 5 packs.

Sad to report that the hacker has died durring a speed pass the spur gear let go and striped. and the motor revved to high and the rotor gave up the ghost. The mgm survived. But i have never seen that much smoke from a motor before. Even dead the hacker is still a pretty motor to look at

Take out the rotor, and glue a pencil sharpener to the inside of the front endbell, then seal the inside of the rear bearing with a bit of tape & put the front endbell back on = you now have the coolest looking pencil sharpener ever.

Shame about the motor, any ideas about a replacement? I was thinking maybe a Neu 1515 2.5D or a castleneu 1518 if you can find one for sale..
