Hello, I just put a Esky EG200A gyro on my car it works awsome but about half throttle going in a straight line the cars wiggle back and forth. Just wondering if this is normal or I need to adjust something. Thanks
Anyone else running a gyro?
Not yet, Maybe at some point in the future though.
Aw, Biscuits!
try turning the gain down a little bit.
Revo 3.3
yes, turn down the sensitivity/gain. Mine did the same thing, lowered it all the way, then slowly increased it until it wiggled again, then turned down. Now it's perfect. Just have to learn how to drive with the gyro cause it's different. You almost have to let it drive the car and you only guide it !
I turned the gain down and there is no wiggle. Yes it is really different driving the car now.
It'd be great if anyone could help with my problem.
I got the esky off eBay, it has one socket for the servo to connect to, that's simple enough but on the RX end, there's a separate connector with just a yellow wire in addition to the regular 3 prong RX connector. Any suggestions how to connect it, no matter what I do, the red light on the gyro just blinks and nothing happens. The servo doesn't work when connected through the gyro either.
Any help appreciated.
Would you have pictures of said gyro with plug in clear view? That would help immensely!
Aw, Biscuits!
Sure do:

I'm clueless, anybody else here have any idea how that works?

You will probably have to try to get in touch with the manufacturer. Normally they don't like threads that focus on tech support for 3rd party manufacturer products here.
Rally SV2/4600 and fully loaded
Update: never got this gyro working. It wouldn't work on my Blitz either.... Cheap crap.
The yellow lead is used on helis to hook up to the gear channel on the rx so you can change flight modes.
There is a video on you tube showing how to install this gyro on a traxxas model
You bought a headlock gyro dont think <WE> bout the right ones , Dont ask how I know this lol but IM gonna try it anyways supposed to be good for drag racing
