    upgrading throttle servo

i have a tmaxx 2.5 with stock throttle servo 2018,,,,,looking for an upgrade,,thought about the 2075, but i might need more crack of the throttle for low speed torque. hitec seems nice, which ones do you all recommend and what hitec you recommend?

    thanks!

The 2075, or 2070 would be fine for throttle. Both are digital. To get full benefit from a digital servo, you need a 2.4 radio. For a real good throttle/brake analog servo, look at Hitec 645mg. I have that on both my buggy and truggy for throttle/brake.

It is a better servo than stock. If you need quicker throttle, try a longer servo horn, or move to the outer hole. If you need more torque for braking, move to the inner most servo hole.

Yeah, I use a hitec for the steering in my pede, it steers unbelievably quick but the servo was $75.

I used the stock steering servo for the throttle when I installed a new high torque metal gear steering servo.

I have been running a Futaba S9402 (111 in-oz torque and .1sec/60 deg @ 6V) for my throttle/brake servos on my TMaxx and Revo. I like the quicker response time for the throttle and torque for braking power. I still use the 27mhz radio and have had no troubles.

buy the 2070 or 75 and use it for steering then take your 2055 and use it for throttle/brake.
