It is very possible, no different than a Rusty really other than the rear tires are a bit smaller so it has less rubber on the ground to put the power down. I put a Mamba Max 5700 in a Bandit for one of the neighbor kids.

How did it do? Also would I have to change the ESC or can I get away with the stock Velinium and a FAN? If I could just swap the motor out would I see a big diffrence on 3S or 2S? I'm guessing I would aslo need to change the ESC to run anything more than 3S.

The vxl would probably run fine, but castle creations escs have more programability. In other words you can change things such as punch control, and maximum brake power, etc.

If you already have a VXL system you are not going to see a big difference if any just swapping in a Castle CMS motor. The VXL and CMS motors are very similar in performance, in fact the VXL tends to have more torque.

If you use a Castle ESC then like mentioned above you get the advantage of being able to tune the ESC on your PC. Also the Castle ESC's will run the new Castle 4 pole motors which IMO do offer a performance boost over the VXL and CMS motors.
