Pro Line Ford Focus body pics..

I've waited months to get a body that fits. I ordered a Pro Line Focus body, had to wait a week (July 4th holiday). I finally get the body and wouldn't you know, the UPS guy stacks a heavy box on it and crushes the body in the rear of the car. I took pics sent them to Pro Line waiting to see what happens. Meanwhile I bent the body back as best I could and painted it up. Couldn't wait like a kid on X-mas day. Not the greatest paintjob, just had to get some paint on it and get it mounted. Drifts like a champ!! 1st time I've run it since I got it in November.

where did you get your wheels from?

Yeah, I took those pictures with my Iphone so they don't show the bend marks around the rear wing. Those wheels are HPI TE37's 3mm offset. I took a black paint marker for static models and painted the spokes. The chrome was chipping so it's the best I could come up with. Then it has T Drift tires on it.

Not the greatest paint job? are ya crazy? a 3-4 color seamless shift and it isn't that good? lol.

Paint is SICK, love the tires, Showed it to a friend who just bought the KB rally and he immediately ordered that shell. Cant wait to see what he comes up with on it.

It is a nice paintjob, but I find it ironic that the photos don't seem to be all that well in "Focus." The paint deserves better.

I'm really liking the look of both the op's and the gulf one. These bodies look just as good as the car does in real life. Nice job guys!

Not sure if you guys have seen this or not, but Pro-Line has this PROTOFORM Tornado body for the 1/16 rally. Similar to the Focus but I think its meaner looking.

I love the Gulf paintjob. Shows some skills. The pics I took are from my Iphone not the best quality.
Pro-Line ended up sending me another body, so I have another to paint up. That Protoform body is SICK I love it.
I gotta get one for sure. I haven't logged on in a while happy to see the great responses.

Here is mine. Mounted on a brushed car with nitro 4-tec wheels/tires. Was going for a Lotus inspired color combo. Wish the green was a hint darker.

Does anyone else have a problem with the body roll causing the focus body to scrape the ground? I have mine sitting at the height i want but due to the cars off-road derived suspension it rolls to the point of scraping. Im thinking stiffer springs.

i'm running blacks on all corners and i don't see too much scraping while cornering. Not enough to worry about anyways.
1/4 preload on 70wt and black springs

The pics i posted above (black and purple checkered roof) i had the preload off to slam it down for the pics.

I did sell it... but I did also paint it so i thought it was still legit to post it here. Honestly, I now regret selling it. It was cool with the XL5... but, at the time, Cash was king. I can see myself with another one when I get a new house with a hobby room.
