Opinions on a great steering servo upgrade please.

I would like to do some steering upgrades and would like to know what are some great options for an upgrade. Please share with me your thoughts.

I already have an STRC alum bell crank on order and hence my question about the servo upgrade question.

I will check out the servo that you mentioned.

Savox 1258TG. Don't even have to change the servo arm. Both Traxxas and Savox have 25 spline output shafts.

+1 on the Savox 1258. Great servo and picked it up for $60 at my LHS.

Only issue that I had was the VXL-3S ESC does not provide enough power for the servo. I got a Novak Glitch Buster capacitor and it fixed the problem.

I just recently got the Hitec HS-5645MG digital servo. To waterproof, take the rubber washer out of the stock servo (you have to take it apart, it’s right behind where the main gear comes out) and install in the same location in the new servo. To waterproof the rest, I used my fingertip to put a thin film of silicone sealant around the seam where the case goes together.
