Wow what a great build,I realy like the paint in the last few shots.Is that some kind of keeper system for holding on to the body clips,if so I sure could use something like that.I lost a couple of clips in the grass,I couldent find them but im sure the mower will.I was nervous about changing out my spur gear the other day,then I looked at your build,man ive got a long long ways to go in the learning curve.I guess thats what these forums are for,an endless supply of good quality info.Enjoy the ride it looks like it was a fun project.

Looks good next body you paint try using Parma Liquid Mask it works good no fooling with tape required.

some old Fly fishing string, tied to the body clips....
the wind was blowing, like usual.. blowing the strings up...
I will get a better pic inside tonight....
had read about the liquid mask, just using painters tape, & had the KTM screen printed, on Lamenting paper.
it did keep me out of trouble for a few hrs...

I ended up putting the Hitech on my Summit with the 10 amp BEC..

I went & bought some 24mm hubs a few weeks ago. They are HPI 102530 Savage wheel hubs to mount Baja 1/5 tires.
I also bought a Losi 5ive T, these are the tires off the 5ive T. Losi made the rims hubs about .100 wider. So the HPI hubs are not wide enough to fully screw the hub nut on.
I'm going to buy some ProLine HPI 5B Rear Bow Tie Tires on Black Desperado Rims p/n PRO115113.
Becasue I already have the stub shaft spacers all I had to do is put the hubs on..Not to worried about wheel wobble, I don't have any prob's with the 17mm hubs...now.....I prob will not run these very often, one they are huge, Seven inches, a bit heavy, & I prefer my Badlands... Might have to put them on my Summit.....a taller tire might be nice.

3.000 wide & 7.750 Tall, 1/5 Trenchers on the Losi Rims Dyed black. Left the rims in dye for three days while I was waiting for the tires to show~up. Might have to get a set of Trenchers for the Summit. Not going to run them on my Revo, to big..

I had a FLM Maxx with custom alum skid & a few other thing I built. Hated it so much I never ran it, parted out & sold it all.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Between RPM arms, RPM mounts, RPM skids, FLM chassis/center dogbones, FLM ultimate hybrid bulks, MIP CVD's, Summit bumpers, Big Joes on Tech 5's, Trenchers on Axial 8 spokes, I could keep the Electronics and sell a pretty nice roller. Then buy a revo/summit roller and build that up. I'm just tired of the little things that seem to keep occurring over and over. Might put it up for sale, have to think about it. Already have Summit body that I've modified my EMBE to work with.

The 1/5 Trenchers are for my converting to BL Losi 5ive T. Didn't want to wait on Traxxas any more to come out with a 1/5 off road truck. I'm not going to run them on my Revo, to heavy, I like my 3.8 Badlands. My buddy has a HPI Baja he has the 1/5 Badlands, looks like they might be a good fit. Still a little bit heavy for a 1/8 scale truck..
I can see how the extra weight would stress the stub axels. Interesting set~up on your Maxx, looks good..

Nice build man. I just got mine up and running today. Summit cvds,2 speed tranny ( I only use one) , Summit bumpers, body mounts and body. Had it out on 4s with my new MMM setup and omg is it insane. I don't know how you guys handle 5/6s on these things rofl.

I think it's time to upgrade to Lunsford Titanium push rods. Don't know what I hit, but it was something. I have another set of Ti push rods, but they are for the LT rockers. SO... as you can see I bought a new set for the P2 rockers, new rod ends & hollow balls. The rods come with a zip tie cut to length for setting the rod ends lenght.
