    You would have liked this:

Mounts the motor to the tranny still, but lets it sit very low & to the side.

I like what you've done there though, very tidy and low CoG- that mount won't be flexing any time soon I imagine

That is different, I like it.

Can you tell me what clutch setup you have on there?

I've mine set up the same way and you know some thing the extra tilt when air born just might be enough to balance the thing with a camera on the other side Haven't tested the theory out yet. How's it hanging??

That's a RobinsonRacing Gen 3 slipper/spur setup, great item but you do need to run hardened steel pinions from RR or RC-Monster with it, otherwise it will eat alloy/ plain steel pinions for breakfast.

surprised me a little that you have chosen to be the motor out the left side because the motor could come further down the right side because of the gearbox

Err, that mount does put the motor on the right hand side- thats the front face of the mount in the picture, puts the motor in the same location more or less as how you have positioned your motor.

Forgot to mentions, I thought the motor was supposed to be under the hood Never seen a real hybrid or electric vehicle's set up but aren't the motors under the hood too?

Generally speaking they are, though some have the motors in the wheel hubs, other have the motor tucked away down by the transmission- me thinks that doesn't really apply here though..
