    1717 castle in E-maxx

Is there anyone who has installed a 1717 in their E-maxx ?

Have seen it in the revo, but what about in an E-maxx

Just finished my own cc 1717kv project

Just out of curiosity, do you like zip ties?

The zipties are used in the same way as the fishing line trick, to prevent tire ballooning- the tread is deep enough on those tires that the 'lock' part of the ziptie doesn't 'stand out' as such.

    Well, I'll be...
What's the reliability of zipties vs. taping inner carcass?

That thing looks redonkulous running! Ever run it on a track?

Its tires from a Mammoth truck 1/8 with 14mm hex and 17,8 cm diameter ............... The esc is the ********* from hobby king (no waterproof) but the water seems to stay out from chassis

Nope. Bear in mind Neu didn't make a version of it to begin with- the 1717 is a purely CastleCreations.... creation, just based on the Neu design, as is the case with all the Castle 4 pole motors.

If you want something roughly equivalent to the 1717, then try the 1521 1Y ( 1577kv ), or the 1527 1.5D ( 1500kv )- they are long motors and extremely powerful, you'd not be wanting for any extra power in any 1:8 scale truck...

I can only imagine the power the 1717 has in a Maxx. I have an E-LST XXL running a 1717 that weighs a lot more than a Maxx. And that thing rips on 6s.
