Tightened all the screws/fasteners and read the Driver's Ed pamphlet from Castle. I just bought my Maxx (from shizcol here) and since the radio, which was in a separate box, didn't arrive yet I gave the truck a once over and familiarized myself with it.

Bashed my flm maxx hard enough to grenade a 1/8th scale diff and/or bearing inside the diff, trashed my body, and lost a screw holding the rear toe-link to the bulk.

Replaced the rear differential gears, topped off the shock oil & changed out some of the HD springs for Dual Rate. Aside from that, snapped my T-Bone front skid plate and waiting a replacement.

RPM front/rear bulkhead braces
RPM front/rear shock towers
RPM True-track rear
RPM Front a-arms
RPM skid plates
New Black Traxxas front skid plate, Lundsford Titanium hinge pins.
*(hit tree 5 minutes first time out, broke some stuff, son liked, told mommy first thing, I'll have to talk to him about what you do and don't tell mommy!)
3.8" Big Joe 40 series on Black Tech 5's
Going for an all blacked out look except for the aluminum bulkheads with a GMC topkick body this spring. Son loves Transformers so I might look into doing an identical Topkick setup on my EMaxx and his Digger.

Did all this over a week or so waiting on parts after I hit the tree and broke some stuff! Wife also loved it sitting on our dining room table! We never use it anyways and I put a towel down to keep from scratching it. Ha!

Loving getting back into something I did for years as a kid! All while watching my 6 y.o. son drive his Digger trying to keep up with mine! Can't wait for spring and warmer weather to get some Lipo's! Chris

What body is that for? 3905/3903? 3906?

Years ago I got an pro-line H2 for the MGT for my t-maxx (this was before the LWB maxx trucks were out and aftermarket bodies were made). Awsome durable body.

I just got my replacement T-Bone Basher front skid plate. I love the warranty on these! Since moving back to the US I'll finally get around to finishing up my new set of Proline Badlands.

Replaced a front a-arm hinge pin and then promptly went out and took a second jump less than 20 minutes into the run and broke the rear bulkhead. I have no local hobby shop so EVERYTHING that breaks means a few days wait time to have parts shipped. Grrrrr! Ordered RPM a-arms for all 4 wheels along with RPM bulkheads and bulkhead braces. Hope they hold up as well as everyone says they do.

I always plan ahead on what's probably going to break and order a spare ahead of time. I was stationed in Japan and had to wait 7-10 days for parts. I have the RPM "protection plan", it's everywhere. I also did that to my MERV.

snapped a outdrive cup, so had to tear down the diff and replace with outdrive shaft/screw on diff cup where as the ofna diff cups and shafts are all one. Firs real run, oh well

How did you manage to snap that in half? I cracked my diff case/cup in half so I am going to try lst xxl diff in the rear since it is the same ratio as the buggy diffs

not really sure i think it was because i didnt have the bearing far enough in the carriers and it drove the cvd into the cup on a big jump. Thats my only guess but it should be all good now.

i got my new 3903 e-maxx yesterday. i put 17 mm hex, and revo 3.3 tires. the 6.3.

plus i bought a 3906 e-maxx from a friend for 100 bucks. what to do, im thinking.

I ordered a new EMBE to keep my 3903 & 3905 company. This will be my first brushless RC so I'm doing a lot of reading here to educate myself. Picked up a few RPM parts today but need a few more to strengthen things up. New truck should be here tomorrow.

I've cleaned the Dust Bunnies off of my Brushed 775 Dewalt and 3908 Brushless E maxx today. I've been running my Slash 4x4 a lot lately.

Well today I have done a very thin cover of epoxy resin and fiberglass to the inside of my bashing body. I have also re-drilled my body mounts so they are as low as possible and the I cut the plastic on the front, back and sides to make it fit. The body is now very low down and almost looks like the revo. Hopefully it should give a bit more stability and aerodynamics (although I am not sure the aerodynamics will make a difference). I have also put the wheelie bar back on ready for my lipo´s that should be here shortly! I Hope!
