I thought this was worth sharing. I broke the slipper input shaft and shedded a motor mount bearing. Almost landed It.

Broke an ear off of a front axle doing speed runs today Keep chewing up spurs for some reason, so I need to investigate. $4 every couple of days is getting expensive. Seems to be after a big flip and hard landing, so I think the motor is moving....who knows.

Check the bearing that the slipper sits in in the motor mount. Take the mount out and take the bearing out. See if the hole is elongated and/or the bearing has gone bad.

I haven't broken anything yet. But that is because I have not taken it out yet today

I'm on the DUCT-TAPE program but more importantly the SLASH 4x4 REAR bumper with wheels has been helping the bodies last WAY longer.

As for bodies I'm now kinda partial to the pro line raptor.

I beat the heck out of my new body last night at a gravel pit. A few big landings on the roof, and it held up well.

I slid the truck in the parking lot right into my big toe and broke it and tore the toe nail off.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. Personal damage is never good. Always wear protective shoes when you are steering your car towards yourself.
T-bone wheelie bar is an awesome upgrade. Stock one breaks too easy when you cartwheel. The T-bone takes a lot of abuse without a sweat.

after less than a month of using my p4de i broke a rear driveshaft. not sure how i did it though. i was just ripping around the yard running 2s and i noticed one rear wheel wasn't spinning like the others. time to investigate an upgrade.

I only had sandals on and I guess I paid the price but it is a rarity that I actually hit myself (tall about feeling stupid) .

As tot he wheelie bar I still like the Traxxas bar because it is adjustable. All three of my trucks have them and that is the first one I have ever broken and it took a NASTY crash to break it. They are inexpensive and available at the LHS that is about 100 yards from my front door I'll be sticking with Traxxas wheelie bar.

Impressive. I have broken the rear axle twice. Once was the yoke connecting the stub axle to the u-joint, and the diff yoke once. This was on 2s. MIP CVD's are on order.

I broke an mip x-duty cvd. I was jumping a ramp and a piece of the wood caught a trencher. Wheel went flying away.





Ate up my wheel adapters too.

Found a BMX park with some BIG jumps. Bad landing from about 15ft in the air snapped a rear shock body in half just below the cap, and pulled a screw right out of the plastic body mount. $3.25 for a replacement. Thinking of going all aluminum shocks after that though.

Was running on an asphalt parking lot just playin around doing wheelies and hard stops. Stripped out my ring gear, burnt the bearings up on my 3500, and tore up my body pretty bad... time for Pro Line's Silverado 2500 body!

Yesterday I was jumping my truck out of a sandtrap on the golf course and I almost completely ripped the stock wheelie bar off the truck.
I also had a really hard landing that knocked my pinion gear and slipper shaft drive hub loose and completely shredded every tooth off my spur gear. Those were both blue loctited too.

stripped my stock spur gear after showing the truck to some family that is in town. ordered 2x 54t, 1x 52t spur gears, 13t - 22t pinion gears to play around with various gearing options. still loving my 2400... new gears should be here monday oh, along with the revo clutch kit

I had recently swapped the front bummper for a slash 4x4 one. My son yesterday hit the curb wot atleast 3x on 2s. My buddy with his savage flux kept saying "It's broke now". Each time I checked it and found nothing broke. I looked over and said "Thats a Traxxas for you, nothing broke!".

Seems like I brake something everyday! Yesterday shredded the tire on my ERBE! Today crashed with a flip 5ft up a stop sign hit the side ripped off the battery door and crush my brand new Traxxas 5000mah 3S LiPo!! Hope it's ok. Hasn't started smoking or swelling yet! Been over an hour!
Don't know if you can see it. But the one on the right is bent. That's after I tried to straighten it.

This is what happens when you use too much loctite on a wheel nut. I even ground down a pair of tough needle nose to fit in the wheel and still could make it budge....so off with the wheel!

Blue. It melted the plastic in the nut and created a crazy bond. It took vise grips to unscrew the nut. Never have had that happen before.

Broke yet another yoke on the right rear as well as a half shaft and a stub axle. Seems I have an issue? MIP's for the rear have been ordered lol. Tired of replacing the plastic parts. Otherwise, this truck is tough as nails. I broke my first yoke within 24 hours of ownership. haha

I got a set of skate ramps from a goodwill last night. After a few jumps I cracked the rear differential cup. So much for taking my truck to the beach tomorrow :'(
