2 1600 NiMH bats

Hey all,


I have a series connector and two 1600 NiMH. I have been running them in parallel, but I am ready to try series. My question is: Will I need to use the speed gear included in the box or can I get away with the gear that came preinstalled? Its winter here in Ottawa, Canada and that means that its at least zero degrees if not lower most days.

run the other 23 tooth pinion, even then, still be careful.... series is very hard on the electronics

Run on flat ground as well.

Just curios, 2 x 2cell lopos in parallel would be fine right? Give me the 2cell power with double run time if I'm not mistaken?

Absolutely.
That is what I run to get 1 hour run times. lol

thats what i am gonna be running soon as soon as the batts at spc come in sometime next week. i have the 1600mah in series and it runs good back flips alot though but very fast for just nimh 1600's. let us know how you like the series 1600 nimh's still if you try them.
