If you're just putting the engine into the truck you don't need any kind of lube.
If your assembling the engine itself, you'll need some after run oil for assembly lubrication.

    Hey,
When you assemble the internals of the engine you must USE oil. If it's just parts like flywheel or the backplate then it is not necessary.

My last engine was a trx 2.5 and the new one is a 2.5R. I have the engine on the chassis but the Carb is on backwards. can I turn it around?

Just make sure the bottom carb neck o~ring is in it's grove, a little lube on it will help the carb body slide into place easily & reduce the chance of rolling the o~ring out of the groove.

The rest of the parts need no lube for assembly.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

    LiPo? Naw NITRO!!
