    nuts comming lose

    y is my lock nut keeping comeing lose from my spur gear

    the nylon is worn, just means you'll need a new one

    The OP could try some high-temp loctite for the time being, I assume it'll last a few tanks.

    guys i put a new one on it made a a short circle and was lose again and i am tighting the crap out of it

    Which slipper clutch do you have?
    If the new style 3.3 slipper there are 2 compression washers that need to be installed like this ( ) between the bearing and the nut, if not installed correctly the nut will loosen.

    Old style slipper uses the spring between the slipper plate and the nut. With and a new nylock nut it shouldn’t loosen once adjusted correctly.
    No slipper/tall gearing/power = broken parts.

    it had the 2 warshers are the bowed and go against each other is there a certain way u got to put them on cause i am really ready to pull my hair out lol

    just like snookman showed they go like this "()" thats how theyll look

    and just a shot in the dark but is your shafts threads even getting into the nylon part of the nylock nut, it should be but i just wanted to be sure

    yes it is heres wat happened i ground off my spur gear and when i put the new one on i didnt pay attention to how the washers went on so when the nut came loose i lost the nut a washer broke a pad and lost one so monday i go to the lhs and get a kit this time i will pay attention lol thanx guys for the help
