TQi Available?

When will the new TQi radio be available to purchase? I would like to have it to link my other Traxxas vehicles to it. Can someone help me? I can't seem to find anything about it other than it comes with the X-O...but it has to be sold seperate eventually right? Thank you.

I agree! I really want it to link up with my revo and jato but I hear you have to get the temp plugs and things but what about the channels? Same thing I was thinking too.

When it comes out and I buy the transmitter and receiver; does anyone know if I have to buy anything else? I have a slash 2wd VXL. Like, how exactly does it know how fast I am going? The ESC or do I have to buy another part? Thanks

if you get the telemetry with it you will also need to buy a gear cover for the rpm which is how it finds the speed but it has been shown that it can be a bit inaccurate, so you may want to get the gps sensor.

Anyone have anything on when the TQi is coming out? It used to say yesterday but didn't come out and others said that it was going to come out today. Anyone know for sure?

I'm exactly the same. As much as I like the sound of the new radio, all I can find on the 4 channel version is a part number & you will be able to get it with a 5 channel reciever. Great, very helpful.

Not all my models are 2 channel & I'm in desperate need of new transmitter.

Ok, my LHS spoke to Traxxas dealer rep. today about getting me a TQi, and was told it would be available later this month.

I'd like to use the "Power Up" program to upgrade my current 2.4TQ radio, but he was told I'd have to send my current radio in, and it would take about 3 weeks to get the replacement.

You guys know that the TQI's are coming w/traxxas RTR's now? you can find them if you planing to buy a RTR now. certain models only, check out amainhobbies.

Picked up an E Revo yesterday and it came with the TQi. Haven't figured out how to get it working yet though.

Forget my last comment. It works fine. Also it updated the firmware on both the Tx and Rx. Pretty cool technology!
