oh I didn't say you were going to find an answer, just that it's been talked about already, lol

I would be VERY surprised if someone hasn't tried it yet, and just hasn't taken the time to let everyone else know if it will or wont work

If you buy a set let the forum know if they work on the slash 4x4 and what it takes to install. That would be some great info to post

ok i will just got to find a price i would hate to spend a pile of money on them only for them not to work
it looks like it will work the XO-1 uses the same a arms as the slash 4x4 but the casters and steering blocks are different part numbers they take bigger bearings (6x12) slash 4x4's (5x11) but im sure a 6x11 bearing would work but can you get a 12mm hex with a 6mm center hole (12mm is the stock slash 4x4's hex size right?)

Probably they will work, but I think the hex adapters needs to be changed also, not to mention the tires and wheels.

what I'm wondering is, what's the price going to be on these axles and/or anything else you'll need to make them work, because in the end, is it going to actually be cheaper to just go aftermarket like Techno or MIP and end up with a stronger axle anyway?

I wonder if you could use 6X11X4 bearings, they are available.

Yeah, Traxxas won't sell them yet.. But they will work for slash/pede 4x4, they're listed under "accessories" for them both. Part #6851R : $0.00
Sweet, they're giving them out for free... huh huh huh
    Bottom of the page here:
    http://traxxas.com/products/models/e...x4-accessories
I've asked, they're the same ones. Now if they'd just release them..

im not sure if those drive shafts listed on the slash 4x4 accessories page are the same as on the XO-1 because those were on the accessories page for some time before traxxas relesed the XO-1 but i could be wrong

I'm pretty sure they are, at least the most of them.. Traxxas know how to make the most of existing platforms and interchangeable parts. They have the same A-arms. and the XO-1 probably existed, in some form, for at least a couple of years before hit the shelves, don't you think?
