    Battery pack not included !

Would have purchased, but not all that warm and fuzzy about spending that much money.
Have to really weigh my options now.

The lack of a lipo is not going to stop me from buying this.

Gord knows i have enough that will fit.

Traxxas shows the same size batteries for the funny car as they do for the Rustler. So, looks to be the same size battery compartment. Now... where do I put the velcro straps.......

Just looked at more of the pics and yep... I think I can fit 6s in there.

most come without, or with a nimh (that nobody uses anyways). but traxxas broke ground and included the pair of lipo with the XO-1 so now everyone will complain when new vehicles do not include a lipo.

I agree with cameron. Most people will complain that they wont release all cars with lipos now, but to be honest not everyone that buys some of the traxxas cars is lipo ready to drive with a lipo anyway. Just means that the cost of the car came down that much more because they arent including a battery for a car that they know people are going to get their own batteries for anyways. Sure it would be nice if it came with at least an NIMH pack, but honestly the guys that are going to buy this car are going to be guys that like serious speed, so all thats going to happen is that the nimh would come out of the box and never be used. Sorry for the long ramble, but seems to me like people are using lame excuses now to complain about these cars.

It's seems to me the lipos with the xo-1 were just a added bonus because that car is worth that price without batteries. A brushless revo cost over 800 with tax then you need lipos also so if You get nice batteries you could be at a grand. When I say nice not the knockoff cheap batteries.
