hi everyone!
i have a ? as a newbie today i noticed that when the back wheels spun around there is a clicking noise. just wondering if anyone else has had that problem before, it looks like it hits around the gear cover.
Take the gear cover off and inspect the spur/pinion mesh, and make sure no debris is in there.
Does the noise happen all the time now?

yeah all the time i can just turn the wheels by hand and it happens
Check for any restrictions around the drive shafts. Your gear mesh could be off, or your slipper could be adjusted incorrectly. Play with the slipper settings a bit to see if the clicking progresses or not. If that doesn't solve the problem then maybe an internal gear or your differential is missing a tooth or is not meshed correctly.

Probably just a tiny microscopic rock in the spur gear or pinion gear. Clean out each tooth with a knife or something like that and I am 99% sure the cicking will go away. Always happens to me.

thanks everyone i will take it apart tonight and let ya know what it was hopefully..)
thanks everyone! it was a small rock i got out with a knife and now its gone! now, i have a 1inch piece of electrical tape on my gear cover to help prevent this, i was wondering if i should just buy the rpm cover or just re-tape it like i had it to prevent this from happening again?
your call both works
