    %&*#(@%%@# i crashed

So I was zipping and zooming around on the pavement (cul de sac) outside my house and was surprised with how great my MERV was performing. It looked great too with the newly painted body I put on it. Shortly before retiring for dinner I decided to do one more high speed launch down the road. About 20 meters (~60ft) down the road one tire started to balloon and I lost control and smacked into a curb on an angle at an estimated 40mph. The damage was surprising.

    Damage:
    • Front Left RPM Upper Arm - Ripped off the pins
    • Front Left RPM Lower Arm - Ripped off the pin
    • Front Left Hot Racing Rocker - Bent up at a 45 degree angle
    • 2 Plastic Gears in my 2080 stock servo - Shattered
    • Traxxas Aluminum Tie Rod - Bent

Unfortunately I only took pictures of the damaged tie rod and the RPM arms, as those were the thin
gs I noticed first. Then as I started replacing the parts I noticed more damage, but forgot to take pictures of the rest. My Integy Bulkheads held up astonishingly well despite the impact the drive train suffered.

Don't think that aluminum steering servo saver helped. When I hit like that -that's what saved me pulled the toe link bolt right out of the servo saver and lost a cvd but that was it. You have no weak link with that on

I had a similar crash and also ripped an RPM arm off the pin. A plastic rod end broke of my GPM steel ones, but the steel wasnt bent. Steering stuff wasnt damaged. Neither were the alu GPM bulkheads.
    Nobody is born with experience

My last high speed curb crash tore my Traxxas cvd right out of the spindle (and was lost nowhere to be seen)and broke the servo saver but didn't hurt the rpm arms or Traxxas aluminum toe links!
