another gearing question

ok i know people have asked this before but what gearing are everyone running in there 2wd slashs with velineon/vxl and dont have heat issues? im looking for a good gear ratio. i have a 11.71 now.

depends on what battery you run, i run 2s with 23/86 and i have no heat issues, but when i run it on 3s i get just above 180*, so it depends.
I would suggest stock gearing 23/86 or even lower, 19/86-90 just in case.

i will be 2s for racing and some bashing and i know i wont have any heat issues but i will be bashing mostly with 3s lipos. i run 32 pitch gears so a 86spur and a 23 pinion would give me about the same ratio as a 56 spur and 15 pinion.

i got a 56spur and a 13pinion right now which gives me my 11.71 final drive which isnt to bad. 86spur 23pinion gives you a 10.17. 56spur 15 pinion will give me 10.15. a 14pinion would put me at 10.88 so i might do that.
