Just got true track kit, what's the mod it needs?

Title says it all really. Can't remember what the part is that gets swapped out to stop something from pulling out.

Only mod I can think of is to shave off a bit of the surface where it mounts to the bulkhead. RPM seems to be a little thicker than stock A-arms so they fit tight.

Some folks don't care for the wheel bearings that come with it. But to me, they've held up better than the stock bearings.

Oh yeah… Now I remember. Guys are pressing a cap from a Revo kit over the pivot ball shaft and onto the RPM carrier. RPM carriers seem to be too soft for hard bashing so the pivot ball gets pulled through the carrier easily. I tried to search for the post but I can't find it.

You want the steel ring from the revo knuckle. It goes on the back of the knuckle where the pillow ball attaches.

Happen to have a part number? Is that ring instead of the black plastic cup that comes with the kit?

It's the steel retainer ring from the Revo #5334R carrier you want.

    Look out for the tree/crunch!

So buy the Axle carriers just for those two little rings? Seems simple enough. Do they replace a piece or just go in the rpm carriers along with everything else?

Yup, just for the steel rings.
Just press them onto the same area on the RPM carriers.
