it cost me below $200 to get it into a roller and i transfer my MMM system from my REVO-E.

slayer a-arms, driveshafts, toelink/pushrods, 4s lipo and tekno conversion got it here from a good buddy of mine for a fraction of a price.

then from there EBAY time

i'm trying to find a smaller spur since i cant go any higher with my pinion, 20t pinion is the highest i can go, now finding a smaller spur is not easy to find and i did found one but its the steel 34T. anyone know where i can find a plastic one?

or what if i get the 34t XO-1 speed pinion and run it without the slipper clutch. i know that sounds bad but my trans are metal gears and i dont really gun from standing still so driveline is pretty much my issue there.

i went ahead and order the HR 34T spur along with 22T pinion, i should get more speed with this. i know with 20t/36t gear....i dont have any heat issue so bumping up should'nt be a problem.

Give the leopard brand a try, last I seen they have some the same size as the 2200kv of 4274 in higher kv. Maybe 2400, 2650 I'm thinking about.

is changing it to 70/30 really make a big difference? do i have to reprogram the ESC to recognize the 70/30? i have'nt done switching 70/30 before though. i tried doing this with the VXL3s and i failed programing it so i just did'nt bother.

me neither so i just leave it like that works fine for me on 50/50 doesnt hurt anything at all, if anything i would set my nitro to 70/30 as i dont need that much travel on the brake servo.

Speed Control Programming Instructions

The Castle Creations Mamba Max speed control should not need
reprogramming with normal use. However, if you install a different
radio system in your model, or change the transmitter’s throttle-neutral
setting from 50/50 to 70/30, you will need to reprogram the speed
control. Follow these instructions to reprogram the speed control:
1. Install the batteries of your choice in the battery compartments and
plug the batteries into the speed control.
2. Switch on your transmitter.
3. Hold full throttle while you switch on the Mamba Monster controller.
After a few seconds, you will hear multiple tones and the
RED LED will light.
4. Hold full brake. After a few seconds, you will hear multiple tones
and the YELLOW LED will light.
5. Release the trigger to the neutral position. After a few seconds,
you will hear multiple tones and ALL THE LEDs will light.

i got my HR hardened steel 34T spur in the mail today, put it on and gave it a test run and i lube it slightly just because lol.
