    Proline 3.8''/40 series Road rages

I have these tires, what would be good wheels that will fit them. Thanks!

Definitely get a set of Geodes, proline desperado, or another wheel with 1/2" offset.

The road rage tires are great on road tires, if you put them on 0 offset wheels like the stock Gemini wheels, the car will be very prone to traction rolling when you are trying to turn.

If you haven't opened the package, you should be able to exchange them.

I've got 40 series Road Rage mounted on 0 offset Axial 8 Spoke Oversized wheels. Great combination and I haven't flipped my truck once. I mainly run on asphalt and everything has been good so far. They grip very well and take turns even better for me.

I run 6s with 18/54 gearing so I wouldn't worry much. Mount them and enjoy!

+1 on the black axials. Although with 6s and 21/54 gearing, I have to have steering set at 15% on the iPhone or I flip it easily.

yep +1 on the black axial 8 spokes. they look awesome and the spokes extend out past the tire slightly to protect the tire from being rubbed on. That is a definate plus cuz the sidewalls are a little thin and can tear or rip easy. I have a set I bought used and one of the tires had that problem and you couldnt really see it until you took the tire off of the rim

been tearing the sidewalls apart on stock tires. Any recommendations for something a little more beefy. Just for bashing on dirt and gravel

I use HPI GT2 on 1/2" offset maximiser beadlocks. They are an awesome set of tyres and very tough and durable.

I have been having very good success running Trencher X's on 1/2" offset desperado wheels.

They are roughly the same size and weight as the stock Summit wheels. Slightly heavier, but I don't have issues with broken shafts. I run summit shafts, too.

Will my 40 series road rages fit on these?
    http://prolineracing.com/wheels/tech...t-17mm-wheels/

    I bought these...
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/380446751221...84.m1497.l2649

I got them today... and they are not 40 series... I'm going to return them

I just talked to a proline guy and he said that Proline doesn't have wheels that will fit my "Proline" road rage 40 series tire #1104

Ok so I have the widest tires ever lol. I have to buy axial oversized wheels?? $60 for wheels!!!! Wow

Hey I just ordered these, I believe they will finally fit the road rages.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/390430805454...84.m1497.l2649

What adapters should I get because they are 14mm and the e revo has 17mm

Now that Proline has 2 different 3.8" tires (40 Series vs Traxxas bead style) all the ebay ads will be messed up for a while. (Desperado 3.8 rims are not 40 series like the above ad says)

Those Axial 8 spoke are 17mm. They only come in 17mm -another butchered ad. They give you plastic 17mm hubs - but you won't need them if you already have 17mm.

So whats that you say? You spent money on parts you don't need? Theres a first. lol - j/k - hey it happens - and the ad was misleading.

He shouldn't even admit to spending 30 min to solder even if it took him that long.

I have the same road rage tires on the axials but the axials have a sharp edge on the rim and cut right through the tires after a couple of runs. It was a huge waste. I emailed the company and told them they have a design problem. If you like them I have 2 that I still have that are almost brand new. I also hate how small the screws holding the bead rim on. They are hard to deal with and strip very easily.

Look at the tire and wheel option with pictures thread. At the bottom of last page there are the wheels and tires that I will be putting on, someone did it before.
