yup tower hobbies and rcplanet are some of the cheapest places but also try stormerhobbies.com and amainhobbies too sometimes you can get deals i get emails from rcplanet with codes and amainhobbies for like 25-75 off certain amounts which is good. most of the time you can buy a brushed for around 370-400. if you have another 200 get a brushless at rcplanet for 599.99 real good deal for a brushless and see if you can get a discount code with it. helps alot.

Stormer Hobbies is my favorite. They don't mess around with prices and have good service. RC Planet is another of my go-to places for parts since they have good economy shipping rates. Tower can be a good alternative if you don't live in Illinois and can get a coupon code, otherwise they frequently have enormous markups. Because I live in-state, and also because shipping wasn't always as quick as I'd like, I have gravitated away from them.

I guy I deal with on fleebay got me one for $350 shipped..it's the old 2.4 link but that's pretty good price.
