Anybody have an tips on what kinds of jumps I should and shouldn't attempt with the out-of-the-box 4x4 Slash? Thanks
Do them all , it can take it. lol just have fun with it and let it fly![]()
Take pics and vids to post if you can. I took my stocker to the skate park as soon as I got mine!

Learn how to use the throttle to help land. If you hit the brakes your car will chunk the nose down. I find that if I stay smooth on the throttle after getting airborne it will fly level.

You can start jumping it right away, I would just suggest a few things...
1. Learn how to control the truck in the air with the throttle/braking (lots of vids on youtube about this)
2. Buy RPM a arms so you can replace the stock ones if they brake
3. Get a friend to record your jumps lol

I agree about the friend to record, but not much the RPM part. I have the stock still on mine and have yet to break them. On my old Rustler however, I broke them after a big crash and upgraded to the RPM blue arms. After sitting unused for so long I am noticing the RPM arms are starting to bend and sag. I also like the look of the stock arms combined with the Stampede 4x4 shock guards!

Then that point is proven invalid! I still stand by the saggy part...and I really want to upgrade to the wider protracs! I hope the guards work with those too.

I have one chassis that has rpm arms that has sat for months. No sag, no issues. The only sagging I see is on the streets and has nothing to do with rc's. Even if it was sagging a bit you can boil them back and they are not going to hinder performance!

how durable is the protrac kit?
I ordered this ramp
It's easy to jump and learn control with this ramp.
