    flm rear arm mounts?

Just was wondering if anyone might know if these will work for the hot racing tranny case? It looks like they might with possibly a few modifications. I want to get more rear toe but I don't want to spend another $60 on another tranny case, thanks.

I just ordered in an HR trans case, and I have a couple installed FLM's around the house. I'll make that my project tomorrow and let you know.

Sorry, no worky. The HR arms will fit on the FLM case but the FLM mounting arms are too wide for the HR case. If you removed a lot of material you could make it fit, but then the case would be weakened.

would it be possible to grind them down with a dremel to make them a little narrower?

Sure you could make it fit but I think the case will be weakened too much. It's definitely do-able.

Now I'm thinking about trying it... If I get time I may do this and see how it holds up without breaking. Does anyone know how much toe-in the HR arms have?

It most likely has none, like stock. I wouldn't know though. There are other ways to add toe in. You could use 4-tec carriers. They also come in aluminum (adds 1.5 degrees). You could use pro-trac arms also, I forget how many degrees those have though.

I did the 4tec carriers and the protrac arms and it hardly did anything, maybe I did something wrong. I will post a pic later.

So does that look like a good degree? I want to start running at a local indoor track, it has a hardpack clay surface.

It looks about right to me but I'm a bad judge just eyeballing it. It looks similar to my slash with 1 degree FLM arm mounts.

Give it a try and see how it goes. What tires are you going to run? I've had good luck with proline calibers on my Sl2sh.
