The race wasn't bad.... Lol only 3 people raced me my best friend and my dads friend. And they we all slashes. Mine was the 2nd fastest with the castle 3800kv and Nimh and my dads friends slash 4x4 was the fastest.... Castle 3800kv on 3s lipo.... And then there's my best friend who has the stock brushed set up...
To be fair I gave my friend him a 15 second head start and I still won.... So then I put my old brushed system in and he beat me... But my brushed motor and esc is a year and a half old so it wasn't bad but couldn't keep up with his 2 months old slash.
Lots of people didn't race show up or bring their rc's but all in all it was great
Lol my friend and I started doing smash up derby luckily I didn't break any parts... But best day ever!!

wow, your quite lucky; there are only a handful of people who own rc's in this town, my dad's friend (constantly working and busy with a newborn), my friend (currently out of state visiting his mom), and this kid across town that has a nitro that is broken and needs to be tuned
kawasaki summit, revo& slash; regular rusty, pede
Well.... At the moment I'm using it on the road. I have a gravel driveway well 2 actually that are about 175ft eachI have a dirt track and race on carpet... Mainly gravel but for the past week I've been trying to keep her clean so thats why the tires are bald.. I need.... Some road tires, some off road tires and some tires for the carpet track. I barely ever go in grass

i would say proline trenchers would probably be the best all around for you

LOL I wish my dad had one though because I have no neighbors as I live in the country and there's only 90 people in my town he has been going on about getting one but never doesnow he says in the winter he is gonna get one. All the people that raced or were Susposed to live 25-2 and 1/2 hours away Except for my cousins who live across the feild and have nitro rc's but there never around . I went to a carpet track once with my dads friend and his son and it was great and we are sposed to go again at the end of august and my best friend gonna come along and race and buy a brushless set up for his slash 2wd ( most likely the viper copperhead 4-pole system as he wants to have torque and waterproofed ability)

no you would need some different tires for on road speed purposes. ive never seen the jconcepts tires. but the proline street fighter pro core tires look pretty promising as well
those would work well for street use, the trenchers would be good for offroad in general
and for carpet your going to want foam tires i would imagine. but i dont know what to recomend for that lol.

Who makes the Jaco tires ? I've heard those and the jconcepts g-loc we're some of the best in speed run rustlers
Slash 2wd, Slash 4x4, 30th digger, Rustler VXL
from what im seeing from just going to the jconcepts website the g lock is only a 2.8" tire. its not the 2.2/3" or whatever the specific size is for our slash's. thats all i know. but the internal tire design looks similar to the pro core street rage tires to me. and i know there the right size for sure.
dont know if that will help or not but thats about the best i can say, so hope it does help

You would need rusty or pede 2.8 rims for the g-locks. Sc rims will not work.
Proline makes sct road tires that last on road. Street fighters in m2 compound may be the longest lasting option they offer, and still keep the sct rims.

I would get sand paws if you run in the sand or snow..
I do not drive in sand and only ever 1 time in snow so I see no point in sand paws

Ok then I would go with the trenchers and buy different tires for carpet.
So I figured I should post my budget... I'm gonna say 1000.00$. Being just 13 I don't want to spend all at once. I have alot more than my budget but I don't have my first 1:1 scale car yet.. Well kinda lol. This bieng said this project will last about 5 yearsthis budget includes the castle setup and 4x4 driveshafts.. So I'm at... Da dun nah na ! 596.00$..
Now help me spend more![]()

Back on track lol
So there's this 4 port charger that I like... My dads friend has it so I might get that. I just broke my rear carrier today and I'm going to upgrade to trx alum. Rear carriers. For now I put a spare 4x4 rear carrier in so I could still use it.
I've got a q: what's the offset on front wheels do ?
Slash 2wd, Slash 4x4, 30th digger, Rustler VXL
From what I think I know, it makes the widths same front to back.
Merv, Sl4sh, P4de, Embe, Slash
2400/2200/4000kv
I wanna get another slash vxl for Christmas or a losi 1/16 scale sct....not sure yet. You could use offset wheels on front and rear but the rear will prob make the tires stick like half way out of ur body, idk tho.
Uh oh ...
I just put back together my slash and when I use the controller to turn right it turns left and vice versa![]()
