You would need to get the correct body posts, larger tires, (depending on which ones 17mm hexes) and appropriate gearing to run larger tires.

Here's my protrac raptor with axial wraith wheels and tires. I would need to trim the body to actually run like this.

Which front and rear body mounts would you need to run for the MT Cconversion. And what is te benefit of the 17mm hubs, since the stampede tires are a direct fit, I was hoping to stick with them.

I don't think the stock Pede tires will make it look enough like a MT; you should get some taller tires in your stock 12mm axle size. But I have the 17mm hubs on most of my trucks and run truggy tires on a slash and my Rusty; and buggy tires on the others. So you have some options.

Mt tires, body, lower gearing and its a mt. I use lots of differnt posts. Get yourself a set of traxxas slash body mount kit and you'll get a few differnt post sizes in that pack. Also, get the sl2sh raptor set for high mounted bodies and you can run just about anything with the combo you'll have.

I also use offset wheels to widen the truck. Makes it look and feel more like a monster truck. Here is a comparison of stock width and my wider set up.

this is what I'm running now
