For the shocks I limited them with 2 push rods spacers on each shock... I'm also running a VIP kit with piston no.1and flap on top for a street build.

I'm using 50wt oil but feel I probably could of using dimensions 60wt.

The pic below from my eSlayer build but to give you an idea of what I have done. The blue bumper I have put in its original position only 2 spacers inside the shock.

I originally had 3 but the rig was to close to the ground so had to lift the ride height.

For springs I will try silver front and blue rear with traxxas sway bar kit and as said 50wt shock oil. I want my suspension to be fairly stiff.

I've also installed the traxxas rear chassis brace since I had one lying around.

As said before I'm running 21/54 gearing and will run primarily on 4s with the occasional 6s runs.

Progress coming along nicely, closed up the empty servo slot as only running single servo as per my usual builds. I've had to use a glitch buster with the Savox servo as it was causing brown outs... Well known fact with using these servos.

I ran into a little issue when trying to link the receiver to my transmitter. It wouldn't work and spent some time on google trying to find out why.

Eventually linked it to my Summit transmitter... It turns out my old TQ transmitter that I use for my rigs is too old for the new Tqi receiver I'm using... Oh well, looks like it's time for an upgrade.

Ok... While testing and tuning this rig I did not like the front suspension. It felt way to soft so I replaced the front Springs with double orange from my Summit.

It feels way more better now and more responsive. I also changed my set up slightly. I'm now using push rods in middle hole I front and outer hole at the rear

One thing that drives me nuts is the front body posts and how they always moving.

I sorted it out and stiffened it up with an old toe link from Mt eSlayer. Drilled a 3mm hole and screwed it into the 2nd hole from the top.

I've decided to make use of these body clip retainers as I've had them lying around forever. I cut the knows off as I am not making a hole in the body for it.

Ok... After some additional tweaking I have now settled on the foam bumper in the first hole to take up the flex in the nose of the body.

If I could of got the correct body mounts this would of not have been an issue.

I also found a countersunk screw to replace where I mucked up the foam bumper mount.

I settled on florescent yellow and black. The photo doesn't do the body justice and the body still has the outer skin on.

I need to get another can of white paint as the yellow is a bit patchy in some spots and one can wasn't enough for the whole body.

    Cheers mate, thanks!

For camber, check your Pivot balls. May have unscrewed themselves or the threads in the arms may be worn causing the Pivot balls to slips.

I would add my parts along with 500ml of vinegar and leave to over the stove top with low heat. I would keep it at a low heat for a minimum of 2hrs.

I never let the water boil once...when I saw a few bubbles appear I would lower the heat or turn off.

This is my dye bath I use...I got it down at the local hardware store for $12. They call it a galvanised bucket here in Australia.

Awesome thread, very helpful. I seen you got black rockers, I been wanting to do mine. You still using the same method to dye your rockers? Thanks
