My friends Slayer only wants to run well whenever it feels like it . Here it shows it, pretty sluggish, it wont stay on , he has to keep on the gas for it to stay on.

Looks rich...
I can't watch the video, (stupid internet filter block youtube) I from what you discribed, it sounds rich. I would lean the lsn, but mostly the hsn. Depends on what fuel you are running too... Is the Slash a VXL? If so, the Slayer (sadly) will seem a little slow compared to the Slash. Hope this helps!Looks rich...![]()
Is owning 27 RC's too many? No way!
Yes vxl and 23/86 gearing. Love my slash.

Way to rich lean out your hsn 1/8 turn run it hard then do it again if still a little sluggish repeat and when you found the sweet spot richin it a 1/16 of a turn to protect your engine from over heating. For idle lean out your lsn 1/16 and bring up your idle screw about 1/4. Tuning isn't easy or fast it takes time it took me a good week before i found the best tune.
I'm hittin' easy street on mud tires.
On top of the tune being off, could it be that the throttle linkage isn't opening the carb up all the way?
