right now i have a completly stock car and i want to make it go faster in the 35-40 mph range what motor esc combo should i get, i also want to turn it into a truck so i was thinking traxxas chevrons tires but need ideas for wheels that are 14mm thinking to get e maxx body or proline silverado body any pics of this kind of set up or answers to questions would be nice

Brushless conversion with lipos.

Cheapest investment can be:
ESC/Motor combos (Hobbywing/Tacon) for $150-$200.
Lipos start around $30 each for 2S, 5000mah.
Lipo chargers can be found for $40.

i purchased my Lipo batteries online for 25c 5000s 7.2 for 25$ each.

Box stock e-revo with Mamba monster 2200kv combo, stock gearing, stock wheels and tyres

4S = 34mph Max theoretical speed
6S = 52mph max theoretical speed

I run mine at 5S for a good balance of speed and temps
