im looking into the kershaw desighns brushless combo http://kershawdesigns.com/BrushlessM...stems-Gen2.htm its the one at the bottom of the page. is this a good combo for the slash and if anyone has it let me know if it works well???

Looks like a hobby king or hobby wing setup program cards look identical too. Search around and you find lots of reviews on them. Never heard of kershaw though.

Kershaw has been around a long time. Had a few dealings with them on my esavage and all was good. Have seen some unhappy customers in reviews, but I never had a problem...

Wow! Thanks for posting that link. Would have never seen it otherwise.

I've seen numerous complaints about KD, but the majority seemed to be due to KD being a "part time" business, for lack of a better term. IIRC, the owner has a full time job and this business is operated in his spare time, which has lead to orders being delayed for long periods of time and CS is shoddy at best.

I've never dealt with them and most likely never will after what I've seen and heard. It's a shame too because they look like they have some really nice quality products.

Well to be fair, after I pulled it apart and re-soldered the joints, the system does run pretty well and has been reliable.

I never used there brushless setup but have talked to him about it and it is a easy run or hobby wing brand if I remember correctly, I has used there brushed motors and for what I payed for it I was very happy.

What are the details of your problem with them?
