Well first of all i got a mustang boss 302 and she has been running awesome till last night was playing with it then it just stopped. walked up to it and noticed the the reciever was still green but flashing red at the same time. theres no steer or throttle. ive tryied binding it with other controls still no go
Then when it's blinking hit the link button it just blinks red. But as soon as you turn it off and back on doing that green and red blinking again
servo hands down
summit /mustang /stampede-2s spc lipo
Yup it is the servo. Since I have to buy a new one is it worth buying 2 odd then and make it to dual steering servos
Duals on this platform is not recommended.
The servos will fight each other (to the death) as the linkage is not adjustable.
A single, stronger, servo is best.
I chose a BB390, the HiTech 5085 is another that works well.
If you choose the BB, here is how you can set it up:
BB 390 Set Up
All stock hardware is used.
NONE of the hardware included is needed!
There are tab braces that do not allow the servo guard to sit flush.
IT IS OPTIONAL TO REMOVE THEM.
I have done this both ways without any adverse reactions.
Here is a picture of the braces:
(thanks goes to danielhr77 for the picture)
The tab braces create a small gap between the chassis and the servo guard.
Here is how it plugs in:
You will also need to reverse the servo direction.
These are the steps for LINK and TQi radios:
Hold MENU for 3 seconds
Green Blinks
Press MENU
2 Green Blinks
Press SET
Green Blinks
Press SET
Red Blinks

8 Green Blinks

Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.
