very first emaxx!!!!!

yup time to upgrade, my wife rolled mine hard 2 times this last time i took mine out and thought she broken something and now i would need to order my upgrades when i cant afford it yet but have to. I like installing upgrades when something breaks though hardly happens i guess i should let my wife drive it more to break stuff so i can upgrade hahaha

so who won the race if you guys raced?

i put a stock nimh in the sl4sh, if i hadn't i wouldn't of had a chance... also the sl4sh is so hard to drive if it has a battery better than a nimh. over the years it has aquired a insane amount of slop lol

stock nimh still using those? i use mine on my merv still once in awhile. I know with lipos though the sl4sh would be fast but i think you would have kept up if you have the right gearing though top end maybe you would have been a little under but other than that with your setup you have you would have help your own. I dont have anyone around to try that out here a friend here got a slash 2wd but he doesnt use it much its vxl wondering maybe i'll race him sometime lol or maybe my merv once my wife gets the hang of it and i get a 3s lipo for it. the emaxx is alot fun so far much more than i thought i would have with it.

4s is plenty fast with the emaxx, the emaxx (to my knowledge) is geared up pretty high, when the slash only has a larger pinion

I've gotton a hang of 4s now pretty well though i dont really hold down 100% throttle for long periods due to short areas mainly but i would lol if i had the room or even off road at that park i go to where i take vids at (posted in my thread) i can hit 100% only if its not going to hit a ditch around there or the like. i have tried 100% but didnt seem like truck was done getting to speed maybe had like 5mph left in it to reach as i can hear the motor still reveving higher. not too familiar with the slash just yet but it is lighter thats for sure than the emaxx.

You gotta find a website to post your vids that work.

hehe... when ever i drive with my father he wants me to drive my e revo because he doesn't ever like to have the slower car, and his e revo is slightly faster because i have summit rims and tires on the erbe

My brother's rustler is faster than my stampede but that's because I don't need to be going fast all the time. I think I run about 30 MPH or so and he runs around 45 most times.. We have gotten his car up to 62 before..

i have gotten my sl4sh up to 49 with a spur and pinion geared high, with a lower pinion i bet i could do 60

EDIT: also another reason why my erevo is just a tad bit slower is because i have alloy front lower a arms, and a alloy skid plate in the rear, and a alloy wheely bar

sorry, my parents went to colorado for a doctors appointment; and i dont think i will have much time for it, sense on the 15th i will be starting a sl4sh mt project powered by a 2200kv motor, xo-1 upgrade on my erbe, and a older rustler with the vxl motor and esc combo. But if there is time, i will go take it to the moto cross type spot and snap some pictures.

sounds like you have some nice projects there, i have one planned during the winter time and clean and maintain on my 2 rc's left merv and emaxx, project is my nitro pede to make a electric motor mount for it gonna try it.
would say snap the pics in your front yard
