Hoarder?

Looking to pick yet another rc a rustler can't beat the price..I already have a brushless maxx, brushless erevo, raptor and brushless rally..is 5 to many? How many do u guys have? Haha and I'm 40.. gf thinks I'm a little strange.

Not strange at all. I've been flying RC planes for about 5 years now (have about 25 flight worthy and around a dozen more either in boxes or in stages of being built). I also have 3 Slash 2wd's and an Axial Ridgecrest, and recently sold a nitro HPI truck. I'm 42 and my wife doesn't seem to mind (yet). Although I have thinned out the fleet of motorcycles in the garage. RC is a serious problem. My name is Tom and I'm an RC addict....

Well, I'm 20 ( will be 21 in about 24 days ) and I have 2 nitro slayer chassis, one alum and one carbon fiber, an e revo that's been built into an e slayer, a scx10 dingo, a 2wd slash and a duratrax miniquake.

I'm undecided if I have more money in bikes or in rc. I ride a Devinci Hectik 3 and an Echo 24 pure trials bicycle.

Expensive hobbies suck and are awesome at the same time.

Well... I only have a T-Maxx 3.3 #4907 and a Slash 2wd... but I am happy with both.

Back in July is when I became infected. Bought a 2wd Slash, liked it so much I went and bought another for a backup. Haven't even used it. Then I bought a Lxxx ten-scte 4wd. Just sold it, didn't like 4wd. Went to the indoor track with my 2wd Slash, kept turning over in the turns, so I'm thinking of getting an Anza LCG kit and converting my second Slash for the indoor track. Also bought a couple heli's, now looking at getting a foamie to fly in the backyard. Where will it end???

I already have a brushless sys. ordered for the rusty nothing big just an ezrun..$85 not bad they"re decent and now water proof..I have 2 trucks with ezruns and no problems..

I only own one but with my dad and brother e got two.
Mine: 2wd VXL stampede
Bros: 2wd VXL rustler
Dads: highly modified t-maxx
And we got a to build a pan car over winter to go super dubber fast with a 2200 kv mamba in it.

I wouldn't mind having an E-Maxx brushless.

The tires are off right now so the motor just slide in but I know that when their mounted it's going to be a tight fit.
It's going to be a fun build that's for sure.

Do you think I could get away posting the build with it not being a traxxas product?

no, you wont. The reason I asked is the motor is twice the length of the motor pod. with the motor between those fat rear tires that8" wide car will turn into 11" wide at the rear tires...May want to try a higher kv motor with such a light car. 1/4 of that motors torque is all you will need to get to 100 with a pan car. This is not the place to discuss this though. Pm me, a couple of guys I met made a 100 mph+ touring car. I will see what motor they used.

i have about 8 non traxxas cars but i have theses traxxas cars
3x 1/10 summits
2x 1/10 revos
2x 1/16 revos
3x 1/10 rustlers
4x 1/10 slash 2wd
2x 1/10 slash 4wd
3x 1/10 peds
i think that is all. and just sold all my rally's i did have over 40 cars at one time but had to sell some as i needed the room.

Hoarder means you cant part with anything you have, and your stuff is so stacked up that you have to "swim" through your workshop. I feel good that I just sold an erbe. I now have a clean path to my rollers lol.... I am not a hoarder (2 2wd rear shock towers in every pocket)...

im not a hoarder. i will sell stuff if someone wants something. but when i get into a hobby i really go over the top. i have parts still sealed in boxes. lol i also have 2 very high power brushless systems still unrun. and i have had them months. i got some jacos for my speed rustler but they have never touched the ground. and at the moment im sure i have lost a slash 4wd.

there is no such thing as an RC hoarder... My current fleet of RC:
Tmaxx 3.3.. Nitro 4tec 3.3... Rustler CC5700.. Slash 5700 4pole... Slash 3800 4pole... 1/16 Fiesta waiting on new brushless for that... Non Traxxas...HPI RS4 5700CC.. Tamiya TT01 and TT01E for my girls 6 and 7 years old.. Lastly in the fleet.. a Thunder Tiger Ducati motorcycle running a CC5700.. This doesn't include planes, heli's and boats.. My wife stopped complaining years ago..
On a side note.. My fleet is small compared to the guys and ladies I run with.. most have 20 or so r/c's while one friend has give or take close to 100... Not the cheapest hobby, but we are all at a point in our lives where we can afford it.. LOL

I would have more cars, but I've taken over the basement after promising the wife I wouldn't.. Sold alot of cars in the past few years... Mostly older nitro's and some vintage stuff.. I decided to only keep what I will run.. just too much to keep shelf queens as well..

don't get me started on shelf queens. as what i did to my boxed tamiya collection would make a grown man weep. i know they were worth a lot but im in this hobby for the fun of it.

Does anyone remember the "LaTrax" 30 mph cars from the early 80's? I had two and if I remember they did around 30mph which was very fast back then... I had the silver Corvette......

Used to run them at the then called "Jack Murphy stadium".

I got a nitro sport in November 2011,then got a gravedigger pede in jan. 2012,then got a raptor slash in April 2012, then got a ridgecrest in August 2012, upgraded digger and slash to velinion as soon as I got them.
