23t pinion gear setup w/ series connector for bashing

does anyone run the brushless with stock batteries with the 23t pinion setup w/ the series connector and do a lot of bashing. can you do a lot of bashing with the 23t pinion or would the motor get too hot?

Any series connector is for limited speed runs not for bashing
If you need that much power time to think about a motor and esc upgrade like the neu 1110 1/y and mmp but then you will need to detune it for the dirt because you would just spin the tires!

well this is for my nephew and i was wondering if i should put the 23t pinion or just keep the stock with the stock batteries. i will just keep it the way it is for him. its pretty quick with just the stock batteries, i was very surprised. thanks 50.

We use a 23T pinion with 50T spur and series connector in our Slash for bashing. Sometimes in the grass it can get too hot and when running a long time w/o stopping.
