Traxxas LiPo 3S 11.1V 8400mAh 25C - ON 4x4 slash

Hello,

This is my first RC car and loving it!
I'm just curious with these Traxxas LiPo 3S 11.1V 8400mAh 25C battery's if a stock slash 4x4 with a parallel connector could run these or do i need to upgrade anything? Im thinking maybe fans or something but i don't really know.

I also have the IMAX b6ac charger for these batteries and i am worried that i will not charge the battery right and it will blow up on me, what is the optimal settings for charging these battery's

Get a temp gun to monitor motor temps I try to stay under 175. You need a charger that will balance charge lipo and storage charge for when the lipo is not used.

and so i can run those batteries in parallel?

You want to run 2 8400 mah 3s lipos in parallel? Why?

With 3s your temps will be higher and with a mah that high I don't see the point of running two in parallel.

I think you will be perfectly happy with one.

The IMAX B6AC will work fine for your 3S 8400mAh battery, however it has 5A/50W charge limit therefore will only give you a max. charge current of about 4-4.5A depending on charge level due to the 50W limit even if you set it to 5A so charging will take some time.
