slash 4x4 tekno rc dogbone center drive shaft.

i just bought this tecno rc center bogbone drive shaft and i got these 4 little rubber O rings with it. so..... what do i do with them and where do they go??? help!!!

like one in the back of the cup and one around the drive shaft nobbs to keep dust out? problem was i bought them today and went right to work so when i get off i wana know where these little things go so i can jam them in and rock it!! lol like Oring IOring------------this the the driveshaft--------oringIoring if this helps lol

you got it,keeps the shaft from rattling back and forth

I put two in the front cup and two in the rear cups. Put it all together and still have a little play forward and backwards.

Seems good so far.

Good little trick with the dogbone end's of the shaft.


1. cut 2 1" lengths of shrink wrap
2. put the shrink wrap on the shaft and slide them to the middle.
3. install center shaft as per Tekno direction's
4. slide shrink wrap over end's of shaft, to cover the drive ouput's and end of shaft.
5. heat until wrap is tight around shaft.

this will keep dirt and debris fron building up on the outdrive cup's and keep the dogbone end's from getting worn down by sand, mud, gravel or whatever you run on. The shaft will still have the ability to slide back and forth like it is supposed to.

I put 2 in front and rear cup and beat the heck out of it no problem. Thought that was how it went together am I wrong? Basically put orings in cup before driveshaft goes into cup. I haven't had a problem but did I do it wrong?
