Creepy photo . need help to enhance it

hi guys

I received this photo via watsapp from a friend. it was taken by one my friend's associates few days ago when they were camping out in a remote desert here. it was taken by a cell phone. I know that some might said it's an edited photo but they guy who took it is a very humble down to earth honest old man and I'm almost 99% positive that it wasn't edited by any mean.

he told my friend that when he took that photo he didn't see that thing showing. he only relies this later after getting back home.

those who knew me over the past years and my friends here in the forum knows that my posts always serious so i'm seeking anyone with a better knowledge in how to enhance the photo and make it more visible to see what is really that creepy looking thing on looks like.

also there's a strange object can bee seen on the left of that creepy thing but it's also not clear.
I hope some with experience here try to enhance this photo.

You will need the original image unformatted/uncompressed/unsized. Looks to be sand people from Star Wars. Ooops I mean Disney Star Wars. LOL

that's fore sure. yes i called my friend last night and asked him to send me the original pic in it's original size from his friend.
he sent me this small size image over Edge cellular network . as soon as he bring me the photo i'll update.
i tried to enlarge it via some pic software but it really so small.

Looks like maybe its stew to me... maybe some chilli? Could also be soup or just plain ol beans. Hard to tell with the lid on.

i also didnt know nellie was in the sand. for some reason i dont think that the mcdonalds is going to be very good anymore. this is awesome and creepy at the same time.

Just out of curiosity, what was the original photographer trying to capture in the original shot. Seems like a pointless photo in the first place. For there to be something in the photo, centred like that, makes me think he was actually TRYING to shoot whatever it is and his flash just wasent strong enough.

I made several calls with my friend asking him to provide the stock photo from his old friend but he couldn't
as the man's sons refused due to that everybody were making laugh on his father because of this image.
really it's a shame that many of your neighbors, friends make a joke of something that you didn't fake and they knows
that the guy who made take the photo is normal "bedwin" man that has nothing to do with digital things.

that's true. that is a non filled back 18L water bottle.

What animals live in the desert that might be that size?

I've spent time in Tunis in the desert and you see things when you're tired, but this was a photo. It's interesting.

All I can tell is that its some sort of four legged creature.
It looks kind of like a person with a black hood on kneeling on one knee holding something.
If its an animal then its one I've never seen or heard of before.
It doesn't look like a sasquatch.
Where is the exact location where this was taken?

It for sure looks like a monkey with a black head and a bare (lighter) colored stomach. It's a weird position for a human to be kneeling like that. He's holding something. I's your friend missing anything. Any chance his kids had time to photoshop it before he had a chance too look at it

its very possible that it a non animate object like a rock or stump and the camera picked up shadows that were on it reflected from the clouds
