Battery Storage Solution

Thought I'd share this purchase with you guys, I've been wondering how I can safely store my Lipo (I have planes/helis/trucks including e-revo) you can imagine I have ton of LiPos all around the house.

Found this semi- fireproof safe for $33 in Amazn incl shipping that fits all my LiPos easily sleep better a night. Let me know if you guys have better solutions.

i had that idea when i started out but now i just use an ammo box because they are really cheap ( i got one for free)

good to see you are thinking on the safe side of things, sorry here is the but. If one batts has a problem it could take out all the batteries. I built a charge~storage box with a sliding lid & dividers to keep the batts separate..

Yup, I thought about that as my next move, dropping in dividers/plates.

I just place my batts on a piece of tile that was not used in my bathroom

I have two battery bags. A smaller one I use when charging and an 11x13" battery bag for storage

Especially returning from a ride with.some hard hits gives me extra protection when they are on my trunk!

I use lipo sacs when charging but I store my batteries in an ammo box. Cost about $5 I think

Yall make it sound like these things are ticking time bombs or somethin???Iv heard of them catching fire after a crash.Yall fill me in.I may go and grab my ammo box if their that dangerous.

when handled properly they are fine, but why take the chance for a few bucks & have piece of mind knowing they are safely stored..away......

I went to my local army surplus store and picked up an ammo box to store my lipos. Cheap investment for peace of mind.

I found the other ammo box.... But is a 1:1 car battery charger ...So it doesn't work for me , so I keep my green big box

Why would you want to remove the lettering on an ammo box? I love the fact that mine says 7.62 on the side! People look at me weird when I carry it through campus though.

people around here would think you were in the military carrying that around as there are tons and tons of vets here. I should ask a few people see if they have them still in their junk piles.

I didn't remove the letters...the box is very old...I was just removing the white paint...
